Childcare Programs
MNI facilities accept children ages 6 wks - 5 yrs (13 yrs at Smyrna). We are the largest privately owned facility in Middle Tennessee. All Ms. Nichole locations are licensed by the Department of Human Services (DHS) and monitored several times throughout the year. We maintain the rules and regulations enforced by DHS. This is in part what makes us truly the best.
Roly Poly
Ages 6 wks - 12 months
MNI Role Poly class is designed to be delicate and sweet, like our babies. This environment is calming and nurturing. The class does not have a specific schedule which allows children to rest and play at their own pace. This class is a shoe free zone which allows our crawlers and beginning walkers to move around free from germs. Your child will learn, discover, play and create each day.
Bumble Bees
Ages 12 - 23 months
MNI Bumble Bee class is a bright and cheerful room. The ratio for this class is one Teacher for every six children. This ratio ensures the personal attention for each child to thrive. The environment for this age is designed to channel the abundance of energy and need to explore. They are able to discover and learn through our sensory-based classroom. All children are provided with love, encouragement, appropriate space and opportunities to further enhance their development.
Caterpillars
Ages 18 - 30 months
MNI Caterpillar class is a bright and cheerful room. The ratio for this class is one Teacher for every six children. This ratio ensures the personal attention for each child to thrive. The environment for this age is similar to the Bumble Bee class, but gives the older children more tools to enhance their curiosity. Social interaction is very important at this stage and this class is designed to channel that need. Children at this age have an abundance of energy, therefore music and large motor activities are incorporated throughout the day to fit that need. All children are provided with love, encouragement, appropriate space and opportunities to further enhance their development.
Butterflies
Ages 24 - 35 months
MNI Butterfly class is a bright and cheerful room. The ratio for this class is one Teacher for every seven children. This ratio ensures the personal attention for each child to thrive. The environment for this age helps to enhance curiosity and give them the guidance and tools needed to develop to their full potential. Social interaction and age appropriate activities are designed to fun and encouraging. This class introduces structure and the importance of staying on task. A group time is done throughout the day which offers a variety of music, large and small motor activities and introduces cognitive lessons. This class also begins the potty training process. All children are provided with love, encouragement, appropriate space and opportunities to further enhance their development.
Grasshoppers
Ages 24 - 35 months
MNI Grasshopper class is a bright and cheerful room. The ratio for this class is one Teacher for every nine children. This ratio ensures the personal attention for each child to thrive. The environment for this age helps to enhance the knowledge of a learning stations. MNI has 7 Learning stations throughout the class. These stations include home living, blocks, music, science, games, art, and library. Part of the daily routine is teaching the children to take care of all items and place them back where they belong. Social interaction and age appropriate activities are designed to be fun and encouraging. This class introduces structure and the importance of staying on task. Small group learning activities are incorporated into the daily schedule and emphasize cognitive learning skills. Children in this class are required to be potty trained. All children are provided with love, encouragement, appropriate space and opportunities to further enhance their development.
Fireflies and Dragonflies
Age 4 - 5 years
MNI Dragonfly and Firefly classes are both bright and cheerful rooms. The ratio for this class is one Teacher for every 16 children. This ratio ensures the personal attention for each child to thrive. This environment is set up to prepare the children for public school education. Our curriculum is prepared and designed to fit the needs of each child. Our curriculum standards follow those as required by the State of Tennessee. Your child will be assessed throughout the year and an individualized plan will be put in to place, to maximize your child’s ability. The structure of these class rooms are similar to a Kindergarten classroom. MNI has 7 Learning stations throughout the class. These stations include home living, blocks, music, science, games, art, and library. These stations are age appropriate, which creates a learning and play environment. All children are provided with love, encouragement, appropriate space and opportunities to further enhance their development.

A Bugs World - School Age (Smyrna location only)
Ages 5 - 13 years
MNI Bugs world classes are bright and cheerful. Our school age program is designed to give kids a bit of a break from the demands of a school day. We maintain control but allow the children many choices. Snack is provided each day and homework assistance when needed. School agers can explore, imagine and just have some simple fun in our 7 learning stations. These stations include home living, blocks, music, science, games, art, and library. We thrive on teaching respect and responsibility. All children are provided with love, encouragement, appropriate space and opportunities to further enhance their development.
